How it works

You make something. People who love it collect it and pay you directly. It is yours, permanently. That is the whole thing.

The idea, in plain terms

A product you own outright

Something you make once and can sell forever, that carries its own rules with it - the price, who gets paid, and where it lives - wherever it goes. Think of it as a little storefront for one piece of your work.

Numbered editions

Like a signed, numbered print run, but digital - and provably the real one, with its whole history attached. The reader who collects #1 is recorded as the first, forever.

Built with other people

Mix in a designer's template, a musician's track, a cause you care about. Everyone you build with is paid their share automatically, every time someone collects - no invoices, no chasing.

How the money works

You get paid directly. Splits are automatic. The money never passes through us.

Today

What you can do right now.

  • Get paid directly, the moment someone collects your work. The money never passes through us.
  • Pay your collaborators their share in the same transaction, automatically, every time.
  • Artists earn structural royalties - make a template once, earn whenever someone builds on it.
  • Route a slice to a cause you care about, paid in the same moment and verifiable by anyone.
  • No payout cycle. No account freezes. No algorithm deciding who sees you. Your money is never ours to hold.

Coming soon

not yet live

Real roadmap, flagged honestly.

  • A resale marketplace - list a piece you own, set a price, and earn automatically on every resale.
  • Buy with a card - go from zero to collecting in one step, no exchange account needed.
  • See prices in your local currency.

The promise

Why this is different.

  • Your work does not live on our servers. Your customers are yours, not ours.
  • If we disappear tomorrow, your store, your work, and your audience go with you - not with us.
  • We are an interface, not the owner. The work belongs to you and the people who collect it.
The old way
Rising Tide
Where your work lives
On a company's servers
Permanent, and yours
Who can take it down
They can, anytime
No one
How you get paid
Eventually, minus fees
Directly, the moment it sells
Who owns your audience
The platform
You
If the app shuts down
You lose everything
Your work and audience remain

For the curious: how it actually works

You never need to know any of this to use Rising Tide. But if you want to look under the hood:

Show the technical details

Your work is recorded on the Stacks blockchain, which is what makes ownership and payment verifiable by anyone and impossible for us to alter. The content itself is stored permanently on Arweave.

Each piece is a numbered edition tracked on-chain. When someone collects one, the payment splits to every contributor in a single transaction - there is no separate payout step and no ledger that can drift out of sync.

You can sign in with an email and we manage the wallet for you, or bring your own Stacks wallet if you already have one. Either way, the work and the money are yours.
